Have you ever found yourself somewhere with no signal or very little coverage, but noticed there was Wi-Fi access? Of course there are lots of places with excellent operator coverage, but we all can agree that there are certain places in the building, or room in our house, where the coverage is poor. With Wi-Fi Calling, you can get your SMS, Voice and other mobile services over Wi-Fi in locations where you don’t have coverage. Wi-Fi Calling is a tool that lets you solve coverage problems.
Of course, Wi.Fi calling does not works “out of the Box” so to speak, first you need to have your Mobile Operator support this feature, and then you need to have some of latest Smartphones that can handle Wi-Fi calling.
Some of Mobile handsets supporting Wi-Fi calling:
- iPhone 5s, 5c, 6 and 6 Plus
- Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S5, Samsung Note 4
We can only hope this very usefull feature will become world wide available soon.
